Jackfruit Payasam

Ingredients:

Pitted jack fruit pieces - 15 nos
Jaggery - 2 cups
Coconut milk - 2 cups

Method:
Cut the jack fruit into small pieces. Cook it in a pressure cooker for about 10 minutes.
Heat up a pan. Add jaggery and a little water and allow it to boil. When it starts boiling, strain it to remove the dirt in the jaggery.
Heat up another pan, add the strained jaggery syrup and allow it to boil. Add jack fruit pieces. Lower the flame and stir well.
When it starts to form a lump, add the first cup of coconut milk mixed with 1 cup of water. Allow it to boil.
When it has boiled well and become thick and creamy, remove from flame.
Add the other cup of coconut milk and mix well.
Serve hot or cold, either way it tastes delicious.
